    "Catholic Charities of Odessa was hit hard, literally, by the hail storm nearly a year ago. The hail punched through the roof of their building at 2500 Andrews Highway, soaking the ceiling, walls and floor of the building."

  • We are back in the 2500 Andrews Hwy. location and Hours have temporarily changed due to severe roof damage from the recent hail and rain storms. This has left major portions of our building inoperable.

    “Catholic Charities provides immediate assistance and educates to empower for long-term self-sufficiency.”

    - We strive to assist families with the basic needs of food, clothing, and secure housing or utility assistance. Our Hope is to improve their mental or physical health with counseling or medical care assistance. We have Faith that our educational services will create a strong foundation and promising future for the families in need.

    We are closed on Fridays in all departments.

  • Funds Assistance Program

    Come to our Agency to pick up an application and to set your appointment. Assistance is based strictly on guidelines and proof of your situation.

     

    - We pay a percentage of the bill

    - We assist those that are working towards self-sufficiency or in a situation that was out of their control

    - Poverty guideline levels are not a determining factor, income and necessary expenses are taken into account

    - We offer those that don’t qualify under regular guidelines the opportunity to take educational classes relating to the area in need of improvement (budgeting, workforce skills, life skills, etc.) - for funds assistance

    Subsidized Housing Deposit

    We are able to help families in need of deposit assistance when partnered with the Odessa Housing Authority.

    Medical Care or Prescription Assistance

    It's suggested that you first apply with Medical Center Hospital - ECHDA or Family Health Clinic to determine cost.

    Vision Exam Assistance

    It's suggested that you first apply with Medical Center Hospital - Center for Primary Care - West University to determine cost.

    Birth Certificate or ID

    We assist with obtaining proper identification when it is needed for school, work, medical or agency services.

    Local Transportation

    EZ Rider to go to school or work.
